Anantara Miami Resort & Residences Marks Minor Hotels’ Entry into the United States
Miami Development Signals Anantara’s Expansion into the U.S. Market
Minor Hotels has announced Anantara Miami Resort & Residences, marking the entry of its Anantara brand into the United States. The project will be located in Miami and is scheduled to open in 2030.
Rising above Biscayne Bay, the development is being undertaken in partnership with One Thousand Group. The 50-storey tower will be positioned between the Edgewater, Design District and Wynwood neighbourhoods, with views across the bay.

The project will include 100 private-branded residences, 120 resort residences, and 50 hotel suites. Owners will have the option to place their residences into a hotel-managed programme for guest stays. The design also incorporates a range of wellness-focused facilities centred on movement, nutrition and recovery, alongside programmes influenced by Thai healing practices.
Planned as a mixed-use destination, the development brings together hospitality, residential ownership and wellbeing in a single setting, reflecting changing preferences in urban living.

William E. Heinecke, Founder and Chairman of Minor International, said Miami provides a suitable setting for the brand’s U.S. debut and highlighted the partnership with One Thousand Group to deliver the project.

Kevin Venger, Co-Founder of One Thousand Group, described the development as a combination of hospitality, residential living and longevity-focused design within one concept.
The project team includes architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox, working with ODP Architecture & Design, and interiors by Patricia Urquiola, marking her first residential project in the United States. The development follows earlier projects by One Thousand Group, including One Thousand Museum, designed by Zaha Hadid.
The tower will also include features such as a rooftop helipad and access to nearby cultural and lifestyle destinations, including the Pérez Art Museum, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
Sales are expected to begin later this year, with One Sotheby’s International Realty appointed as the exclusive sales partner.
The announcement forms part of Minor Hotels’ ongoing expansion into new markets, with the United States representing a key step for the Anantara brand.
