Marriott International Celebrates 200th Hotel Milestone in India with Opening of The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa

Marriott International has opened its 200th hotel in India with the launch of The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa, marking a milestone in the company’s expansion in the country. The opening represents the debut of the Westin brand in Jaipur and adds to Marriott’s growing portfolio of leisure destinations in India.

Located across nine acres at the foothills of the Aravalli range, the resort reflects Marriott International’s continued focus on strengthening its presence in India. The company has also been expanding access for domestic travellers, including through the introduction of a Hindi-language version of its website.

Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President, South Asia, Marriott International said, “Celebrating the opening of our 200th property in India is a defining moment for Marriott International and a reflection of the continued trust our guests and owners place in our brands. Over the years, our growth in India has been shaped by hotels that offer enriching experiences through distinctive design, elevated culinary programs, and service excellence that create memorable journeys.

This achievement is also a testament to the resilience of the Indian hospitality sector and the strong demand we continue to see across leisure and business segments. We continue to have confidence in our brands and our teams and remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing our growth through a strong pipeline of hotels.

The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa features 135 rooms, suites, and private villas. Villas include private garden spaces and plunge pools, while guestrooms feature Westin’s Heavenly Beds as part of the brand’s sleep-focused offering.

Facilities at the resort include a 24-hour fitness centre, jogging routes, a cricket turf, and a multi-purpose sports court. Wellness amenities include the Heavenly Spa by Westin, which offers treatment rooms for a range of therapies.

Dining options span four venues- an all-day dining restaurant, a restaurant offering regional cuisine, a lounge and bar, and a poolside venue.

The resort also includes meeting and event facilities, ballrooms, and outdoor lawns suitable for corporate events and social gatherings. In addition, the resort offers cultural programming and curated activities highlighting local traditions.

Its location provides access to regional attractions such as Amer Fort and Nahargarh Fort.

“We are excited to welcome guests to discover Jaipur through the Westin lens, where cultural richness pairs seamlessly with elevated comfort and balance,” said Kamaljit Singh, General Manager, The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa. “Whether it’s unwinding with our signature wellness offerings, exploring the serene Aravalli surroundings, or enjoying deeply rooted regional flavours, every touchpoint has been designed to create a sense of clarity, calm, and connection.”
