Lemon Tree Hotels Signs New Hotel in Gorakhpur
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of Lemon Tree Hotel, Gorakhpur, expanding its presence in Uttar Pradesh. With this addition, the group now has 26 hotels in the state, including eight operational properties and 18 under development.
The hotel will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary responsible for managing and franchising properties within the group.
Located in Gorakhpur, the upcoming property will include 76 rooms, along with a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting room, spa, swimming pool and fitness centre. The hotel is situated about 14 kilometres from Gorakhpur Airport and around 8.5 kilometres from Gorakhpur Junction Railway Station, providing access for both business and leisure travellers.
Vilas Pawar said Gorakhpur serves as a gateway city in eastern Uttar Pradesh with growing economic and travel activity. He added that the project aligns with the company’s strategy to expand in regional markets where demand for branded hospitality is increasing.
The signing strengthens Lemon Tree Hotels’ portfolio in emerging urban and transit destinations across India.
