IHG Signs Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba in Panaji
Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba Expands IHG Presence in Goa
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with NCPL to develop Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba, a 100-key hotel scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2030. The project will add to IHG’s portfolio in India’s leisure markets.
Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts, one of IHG’s established brands, follows a service philosophy focused on delivering comfortable, consistent stays. The brand centres on practical hospitality, aiming to make travel straightforward and reliable for guests.
The upcoming hotel will be located in Kadamba, Panaji, with access to key attractions such as the Fontainhas Latin Quarter, the Mandovi River promenade and Dona Paula. It will also be within reach of the Churches and Convents of Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The location places guests close to both cultural landmarks and coastal areas.
Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the signing aligns with the company’s plans to expand in leisure destinations across India. He noted that Goa continues to attract travellers throughout the year and that the Panaji location positions the hotel to serve both leisure and business demand.
Miket Kankia, Director, NCPL, said the partnership with IHG brings global hospitality experience to a project in Panaji, a city known for its administrative and cultural significance. He added that the hotel is expected to cater to a broad mix of travellers visiting Goa.
Goa remains a key tourism market in India, supported by infrastructure and connectivity, including two operational airports. The destination draws both domestic and international visitors for its beaches, heritage areas and lifestyle offerings.
Holiday Inn Goa Kadamba will include five food and beverage outlets, comprising an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a bar, a lobby lounge and a pool bar. The hotel will also feature three meeting and event spaces, including a ballroom, along with a swimming pool, fitness centre, spa and parking facilities.

IHG currently operates 51 hotels across six brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express, with 89 additional hotels in the pipeline over the next three to five years.
