IHG Hotels & Resorts Signs Garner Bhiwadi, Expanding Presence in the National Capital Region
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a franchise agreement for Garner Bhiwadi, marking the continued rollout of its midscale conversion brand in India. Scheduled to open in 2027, the 45-key hotel will be developed by Modest Structures Private Limited and managed by United Hospitality Management (UHM), an IHG-affiliated third-party management company operating in India and the Middle East.
This signing represents the fourth Garner property announced in India since the brand’s regional introduction. The addition reflects growing interest among owners in conversion-led midscale hospitality solutions and supports IHG’s strategy to address demand for branded accommodation in commercially active markets.
Garner, IHG’s midscale conversion brand, is positioned to offer consistent, comfortable stays at an accessible price point. Designed around a relaxed and flexible guest experience, the brand caters to value-focused travellers seeking reliability and functionality, supported by IHG’s global systems and loyalty platform.
Garner Bhiwadi will feature 45 modern guest rooms designed for both short and extended stays. The hotel will also offer practical amenities tailored to business and transit travellers, aligning with the brand’s focus on efficiency and everyday comfort.

Commenting on the signing, Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the development marks the brand’s entry into the National Capital Region and reflects alignment between Garner’s operating model and the requirements of developers and travellers in industrial markets such as Bhiwadi.

Deepika Arora, Managing Director, United Hospitality Management – India, said the company looks forward to extending its collaboration with IHG through Garner Bhiwadi, drawing on its operational experience to deliver consistent guest experiences and sustainable performance for owners.
VD Shankaran, Director, Modest Structures Private Limited, noted that the partnership aims to introduce dependable, brand-backed hospitality in Bhiwadi, supported by the city’s industrial activity and location within the NCR.
Garner’s expansion in India supports IHG’s broader growth strategy in tier-two cities and industrial hubs, where demand for branded midscale accommodation continues to increase.
IHG currently operates 51 hotels across six brands in India, including Six Senses, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza, voco Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort and Holiday Inn Express, with a pipeline of 80 additional hotels planned to open over the next three to five years.
