IHCL Launches Vivanta and Ginger Hotels in Ekta Nagar on Ekta Diwas
The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced its entry into Ekta Nagar with the opening of two hotels, one under the Vivanta brand and the other under the Ginger brand. This launch coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and is part of the celebrations for Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2025.
Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said, “Today marks an important step for IHCL as we open two new hotels in Ekta Nagar. This multi-brand launch reflects our ongoing efforts to support India’s tourism landscape and contribute to the growth of Ekta Nagar as a key travel destination.”
With these openings, IHCL now has a portfolio of 39 hotels in Gujarat. Ginger Ekta Nagar is the brand’s 75th operating hotel, strengthening its presence in the mid-scale hospitality segment.
Vivanta Ekta Nagar is situated approximately three kilometers from the Statue of Unity. The hotel offers 127 rooms and suites, as well as dining options, meeting and event facilities, and wellness amenities, including a spa, fitness center, and outdoor pool. Guests can also explore nearby attractions, including the Narmada Aarti, Shoolpaneshwar Temple, and the Valley of Flowers.
Ginger Ekta Nagar features 151 rooms, a Qmin restaurant that serves both local and international cuisine, fitness amenities, and a meeting room designed for small gatherings. The hotel is a practical option for travelers visiting the area’s cultural and natural landmarks.
