IATO Partners with States to Host Tourism Conclaves for Product Development
The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) is collaborating with state governments to organize tourism conclaves to support product development and strengthen business networking among its members.
Ravi Gosain, President of IATO, said the association is focusing on product enhancement through state-level engagements. A conclave is being planned with Uttarakhand next month, followed by another with Telangana in a mini B2B format.
The Telangana conclave is being designed as a mini B2B event and is expected to bring together around 100–120 tour operators along with representatives from the state government and tourism ecosystem. The format will enable structured interactions, discussions on destination offerings, and opportunities to explore new tourism products and circuits.

Gosain said the association is working closely with state governments to create platforms that allow members to identify new tourism experiences and build direct partnerships. He added that the modalities for the upcoming conclaves are currently being finalized in consultation with the participating states.
