Hyatt Hotels Corporation Introduces Unscripted by Hyatt with Wink Hotels in Vietnam
Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Indochina Kajima have announced that Wink Hotels in Vietnam will join the Unscripted by Hyatt brand, marking the global debut of this new Hyatt brand. The agreement expands Hyatt’s presence in Vietnam to additional destinations, including Can Tho, Tuy Hoa and Hai Phong.
As part of the arrangement, six operating Wink properties—Wink Saigon Centre, Wink Danang Centre, Wink Danang Riverside, Wink Tuy Hoa Beach, Wink Can Tho Centre and Wink Hai Phong Centre—have transitioned into the Unscripted by Hyatt brand collection. With this addition, Hyatt’s portfolio in Vietnam grows from four to ten hotels. A seventh property, Wink Hanoi Westlake, is scheduled to open in late 2026.
Together, the seven Wink hotels represent more than 2,000 rooms across major urban centres and emerging coastal and cultural destinations in Vietnam.
Expanding Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio
Stephen Ho, President – Greater China and Growth, Asia Pacific at Hyatt, said the collaboration supports Hyatt’s strategy to broaden its footprint in Vietnam. He noted that the Unscripted by Hyatt brand is designed to work with modern, technology-enabled hotel concepts such as Wink, while allowing each property to retain its local character.

Unscripted by Hyatt is part of Hyatt’s Essentials portfolio and is structured to support independent and conversion-friendly hotels. The model allows properties to maintain their identity while gaining access to Hyatt’s global distribution systems and the World of Hyatt loyalty platform, which has more than 61 million members worldwide.
Wink’s approach within the Hyatt system

Wink is positioned as a contemporary hospitality brand rooted in local culture, with an emphasis on technology, efficient design and sustainability. Under the Unscripted by Hyatt framework, each Wink hotel will continue to deliver its established guest experience while operating within Hyatt’s brand standards.
Michael Piro, Chief Executive Officer of Indochina Capital and Wink, said the partnership allows Wink to expand its footprint while preserving its core identity, including its focus on modern Vietnamese design, sustainable practices and technology-led operations.
Since opening its first property, Wink Saigon Centre, in March 2021, the brand has grown into a nationwide network. Key elements across Wink hotels include technology-enabled check-in and room controls, sustainability initiatives such as reduced single-use plastics and LEED Gold certification at select properties, and design concepts that blend contemporary style with Vietnamese heritage.
World of Hyatt member offer

To mark the integration of Wink into the Unscripted by Hyatt brand, World of Hyatt members can earn 500 bonus points per qualifying night for stays at participating Wink hotels between January 1 and March 31, 2026. The offer applies in addition to other eligible promotions; details are available on Hyatt’s official website.
