Binay Patnaik Appointed as Finance Controller at Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa

Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Binay Patnaik as Finance Controller, strengthening its financial leadership team.

A management accountant by training, Binay Patnaik brings experience in hotel finance along with a practical understanding of how financial discipline supports operational performance and long-term growth.

He has previously worked with Park Hyatt Hyderabad and Hyatt Place Hampi, where he held progressively senior roles in finance.

At Hyatt Place Hampi, he served as Finance Manager and Head of Department, overseeing month-end closing, payroll, and internal audits, while working closely with department heads on cost control and budgeting. During his tenure at Park Hyatt Hyderabad as Taxation Manager, he managed financial statements, tax audits, MIS reporting, and contributed to process improvements including income audit automation and GST system integration.

Binay joined Hilton Hyderabad during its pre-opening phase and played a central role in establishing the property’s financial infrastructure. His work included setting up accounting systems, integrating PMS and POS platforms, managing statutory registrations, and ensuring compliance readiness.

In his new role at Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley, Binay Patnaik will lead the full spectrum of financial operations at the resort. His responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, payroll management, internal audits, taxation, and ensuring adherence to Hilton’s global financial standards.
