The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel & Residences has appointed Chef Bongkot Sabpong as Thai Master Chef at Spectra, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant.
In this role, she will lead the Thai culinary programme, focusing on menu development and guest dining experiences rooted in traditional Thai cuisine.
Chef Bongkot brings over 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She began her career at Hilton Hotel in Thailand and has since worked with several international hotel brands across multiple destinations.

Chef Bongkot’s previous assignments include roles at The Westin Qingdao in China, Sheraton Full Moon Resort & Spa in the Maldives, Cinnamon Grand Colombo in Sri Lanka, and Dusit Princess Kathmandu in Nepal.
Her culinary approach focuses on traditional Thai recipes and techniques, with adaptations for contemporary dining. She will be responsible for curating Thai cuisine offerings at Spectra, highlighting regional flavours and culinary practices.
Chef Bongkot’s appointment reflects the hotel’s continued focus on strengthening its dining experiences through specialised culinary expertise.
