Hilton Lifestyle Hotels Strengthen Presence in Jiangsu Province

Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of two new lifestyle hotels in China’s Jiangsu province, including a Curio Collection by Hilton property in Nanjing and a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Wuxi. The move strengthens Hilton’s growing lifestyle portfolio in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The new signings follow the upcoming opening of Xi Zhe Wuxi, a Curio Collection by Hilton, scheduled to debut later this year.

Nong Xia, president, development, Greater China and Mongolia, Hilton, said lifestyle brands remain an important part of the company’s strategy in the region. He noted that Jiangsu’s cultural heritage and tourism appeal create opportunities for experience-led hospitality offerings tailored to changing traveller preferences.

The Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Xianlin, Nanjing, will feature 232 rooms and mark the brand’s entry into the city. Located in Qixia District, the property is expected to reflect local culture and design influences while catering to both leisure and business travellers. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2028.

Meanwhile, the Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel in Wuxi will introduce the brand to the Yangtze River Delta region. Situated in Huishan New Town, the project will redevelop an existing U-shaped building into a 150-room hotel designed around local character and storytelling. The property is also expected to open in 2028.

Over the past year, the company has expanded its lifestyle portfolio across Greater China, opening properties like Canopy by Hilton Shanghai Belfry Plaza, Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho, Canton Hotel Guangzhou, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and The Reserve Hotel Luoyang, Curio Collection by Hilton. These new openings bring Hilton closer to its goal of 250 luxury and lifestyle hotels across the Asia Pacific region, as previously announced.

Hilton Honors members staying at Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton properties will continue to receive programme benefits including member discounts, flexible payment options, complimentary standard Wi-Fi and access to digital services through the Hilton Honors mobile app.
