Grand Hyatt Updates Offerings Across Asia Pacific to Address Evolving Meeting and Event Needs
The Grand Hyatt brand is improving its services across the region to better cater to the changing needs of meeting and event planners, as well as attendees. These enhancements focus on integrating sustainability and wellbeing into the event experience. They also introduce new features aimed at inspiring creativity and reinforcing Hyatt’s commitment to food and beverage with updated banquet and catering menus.

Holistic Wellbeing
Grand Hyatt Taipei has refreshed its meetings and event spaces. Cha Lounge became the first restaurant in Taiwan to receive three stars from The Sustainable Restaurant Association’s Food Made Good Standard for sustainability in sourcing, society and the environment. Grand Hyatt Singapore has completed its transformation into a wellness-oriented space. For events, the hotel offers wellness-driven menus designed with certified nutritionists and back-of-house tours to showcase its sustainability initiatives, including a closed-loop aquaponics system that converts food waste into nutrient-rich pellets for tilapia and fertilizer for rooftop herb gardens. Damai, its wellness destination, offers extensive fitness facilities and Mind-Body Therapy options for event attendees, as well as group activities such as chair yoga, meditation, and gong baths.Elevated Dining
Grand Hyatt hotels in China introduced the “10-hands Black Pearl Signature Dishes Experiences” for weddings, featuring signature dishes from 10 award-winning Hyatt restaurants. This offer is now available in 18 participating hotels with dedicated wedding specialists to curate experiences. Across the Asia Pacific, Grand Hyatt hotels tailor dining to local destinations, from Grand Hyatt Fukuoka’s banquet experience inspired by local yatai food stalls to Grand Hyatt Seoul’s street stall concepts.Enhanced Experiences
Grand Hyatt Kunming, which opened in 2024, features interiors inspired by Yunnan’s natural landscape. Its 8,611-square-foot (800-square-meter) Grand Ballroom integrates design elements inspired by traditional honey collection and features an intelligent LED ceiling lighting system that matches theme colours or corporate identities. The ballroom can be divided into three separate spaces, each equipped with advanced audiovisual systems. Grand Hyatt Xi’an offers an oval banquet space with 360-degree LED screens and hybrid meeting capabilities. Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty extends events beyond traditional venues with a Houseboat Ride experience through the Kochi backwaters for meetings or corporate events.

With 35 properties throughout the Asia Pacific region, the brand is actively expanding and providing new options for meetings and events in emerging destinations. Upcoming openings include the Grand Hyatt Hohhot in Inner Mongolia, scheduled for 2027, as well as the Grand Hyatt Suzhou near Shanghai and the Grand Hyatt Jaipur in India.

Planners can book their next qualifying event at participating Hyatt hotels in Asia Pacific to receive up to 15% off and additional hotel benefits with a minimum spend of USD $2,000 between September 15, 2025 and December 31, 2026. An extra 20,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points is available for eligible spending on group rooms, meetings and events during promotional periods.
