Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang Earns WITT Certification
Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang has received the “WITT Certified” designation, becoming the first resort in Vietnam to achieve this global wellness recognition.

The certification, awarded by Wellness in Travel and Tourism (WITT), follows an evaluation across more than 100 criteria spanning five pillars: healthy eating, holistic healing, nature, movement and local impact.

The resort delivers wellness through a combination of daily programming and facilities, including meditation and yoga sessions, spa treatments and activities that utilise its oceanfront location. Additional elements include a focus on locally sourced cuisine and partnerships with the surrounding community.

At the centre of the property’s wellness offering is the Maia Spa, supported by a range of accommodation options including suites and private pool villas. The resort also integrates wellness into dining, with plant-based and locally inspired menus alongside international options.
The “wellness-inclusive” concept allows selected room categories to include spa treatments and curated wellness experiences as part of the stay. Guests are also supported by dedicated wellness staff throughout their visit.
The WITT certification places the resort within a global network of properties focused on structured wellness frameworks and sustainable practices. The designation reflects a broader trend of hospitality brands incorporating wellness-led experiences into their offerings.
The development also highlights Vietnam’s growing positioning in the global wellness tourism segment, with resorts increasingly aligning their offerings with international standards and certifications.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as WITT Certified,” said Mario Mendis, General Manager of Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang. “This certification is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing our guests with a sanctuary where they can relax, rejuvenate and reconnect. We are honored to be part of a movement that elevates wellness standards in the hospitality industry.”
