Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Appoints Kristian Campbell as General Manager of Fairmont St Andrews

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Kristian Campbell as General Manager of Fairmont St Andrews, bringing over two decades of leadership experience across luxury hospitality and healthcare.

In his new role, Campbell will oversee overall operations, team culture, and transformation initiatives at the resort. He joins from Elanic Medical, where he served as Managing Director.

Prior to this, Campbell held General Manager roles at Crieff Hydro Hotel and Resort and Rusacks Hotel in St Andrews. His earlier experience also includes senior positions with BMI Healthcare and QHotels at The Cambridge Belfry, as well as entrepreneurial ventures as Proprietor of Sessions Bar and Etat Italian restaurant.

Campbell’s previous tenure at Rusacks Hotel provides him with direct familiarity with the St Andrews market, supporting his transition into the role at Fairmont St Andrews.

Beyond his operational responsibilities, Campbell is actively involved in the industry as a voluntary board member of Hospitality Apprenticeship Scotland and has previously served on the board of Apprenticeship in Hospitality Scotland.
