Etihad Begins Charlotte Service with Airbus A350
Etihad Airways has started scheduled operations to North Carolina, with its inaugural flight arriving at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) on 20 March. The route is operated using the Airbus A350-1000.
New route links Charlotte to Etihad’s global network
The new service links Charlotte and the wider North Carolina region with the airline’s international network, supporting both passenger travel and cargo transport. It also offers onward connectivity to destinations across India, Asia, and other parts of the airline’s network.
The addition of Charlotte expands Etihad’s presence in the United States and adds connectivity between the Southeast region and the Middle East.
Airbus A350 onboard features across cabins

The Airbus A350-1000 used on this route is designed for long-haul operations. In the Business cabin, seats convert into fully flat beds and offer direct aisle access, along with onboard dining options. The Economy cabin, configured with 327 seats, includes personal entertainment screens with Bluetooth audio pairing and Wi-Fi chat access for passengers.
With this launch, the airline adds another destination to its network, supporting travel and trade links between the UAE and the United States.
