Delta Air Lines is expanding travel options from Austin with the introduction of a new nonstop route to Phoenix and the extension of its Austin–Bozeman service into the winter season. The move adds more connectivity for travellers from Central Texas to destinations across the western United States.

Starting November 9, 2026, Delta will launch twice-daily nonstop service between Austin and Phoenix (PHX), operated by Delta Connection using Embraer 175 aircraft. The route links Austin with Arizona’s desert region, with access to nearby destinations such as Scottsdale and Sedona.

Delta will also extend its Austin–Bozeman (BZN) service into the winter travel period. The route is scheduled to begin on June 13, 2026, with weekly Saturday service during the summer, before moving to daily operations from December 19, 2026, through March 28, 2027. The winter schedule is expected to support travel to Montana during the ski season, including access to Big Sky Resort and Yellowstone National Park.

Delta has also strengthened its presence in Austin through infrastructure and workforce investments. In October last year, the airline opened a permanent flight attendant base in the city.

Passengers departing from Austin also have access to Delta’s Sky Club at the airport, which features a design influenced by the local culture and a beverage menu focused on regional selections.

Through these developments, Delta continues to build its network from Austin, adding routes and increasing frequency across domestic and international markets.
