Emirates Introduces Premium Economy on Dubai–Bangkok Route with Retrofitted A380

Emirates has launched its Premium Economy Cabin on flights EK376/377 between Dubai and Bangkok, operated by its newly retrofitted A380 aircraft. The introduction underscores the airline’s ongoing investment in enhancing travel experiences for passengers to and from Thailand and across its global network.

With this deployment, Emirates now offers its Premium Economy experience to over 70 destinations worldwide. Located at the front of the main deck, the 56-seat cabin is arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration, bridging the gap between Economy and Business Class.
Designed for comfort and convenience, the award-winning cabin features a 40-inch seat pitch, 8-inch recline, adjustable headrests, and full leg and footrests. Each seat is upholstered in luxurious anti-stain cream leather and equipped with fold-out woodgrain tables for dining or work.

Passengers can enjoy enhanced in-flight entertainment on a 13.3-inch HD screen with Bluetooth pairing and other tech amenities. Dining is curated to reflect regional flavours, served on Royal Doulton China, and accompanied by an expanded beverage selection, including vintage wines available throughout the flight.
Bangkok joins Emirates’ growing network of Premium Economy destinations following the cabin’s global launch in 2022. The airline’s retrofit programme is one of the largest in the industry, with 219 A380s and Boeing 777s slated for full refurbishment. By the end of 2025, Emirates expects to offer nearly 2 million Premium Economy seats annually, doubling to 4 million by 2026. Travellers can enjoy seamless connections to popular destinations such as New York, Lyon, and London via Dubai.
Premium Economy passengers benefit from a 35 kg check-in baggage allowance plus an additional 10 kg of carry-on luggage.
