Emirates Launches NBA-Themed In-Flight Menu Ahead of Emirates NBA Cup
Emirates, the Official Global Airline Partner of the NBA, is introducing a special NBA-themed menu and offering live NBA match screenings on all flights to the U.S. and Canada until 16 December. The initiative celebrates the Emirates NBA Cup, which concludes with the championship game on 16 December.
Premium Economy and Economy Class customers will find an NBA-themed cabin setup featuring co-branded headrests and custom beverage coasters. The menu includes match-night favourites such as themed pizzas, gourmet sandwiches, and desserts like salted caramel milk cake and chocolate cookie sandwiches.
Business Class customers can enjoy updated versions of game-day dishes, including crispy chicken tenders with buffalo sauce, macaroni and cheese with popcorn, and a selection of bistro bites, pastries, and mini cupcakes topped with NBA chocolate discs. NBA-inspired beverages, including the Rookie Rush cocktail, support the meal experience.
In Dubai, First Class Lounge guests can choose from menu items such as NBA Signature Wagyu Burgers with Rocca leaves, pear and bacon jam, served with fries and salad. The lounge will also feature themed beverages, including the Pick and Roll cocktail and the Step Back Cooler mocktail. Desserts on offer include passion fruit tart, a milk chocolate and coconut sphere, and pistachio éclairs. Onboard, First Class passengers will have access to premium snacks such as smoked beef and fontina cheese on a bagel, mozzarella and pesto white panini, chicken schnitzel with sweetcorn salad in a chia twisted roll, and a vegan burrito in a grilled tortilla.
On the Emirates A380, customers travelling in premium cabins can visit the Onboard Lounge and enjoy an assortment of NBA-themed bistro bites. Sweet options such as lemon and orange bundt cakes will also be available.
Across all cabins, passengers can follow the tournament by watching live NBA matches on Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra.
The limited-time NBA menu highlights Emirates’ continued engagement with global sports. It is available on routes to 12 destinations in the U.S.—including New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Houston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Seattle, Newark, Dallas, Miami, and Orlando—as well as Toronto and Montreal.
