Delta Partners with YouTube and YouTube Premium for In-Flight Entertainment

Delta and YouTube have partnered to enhance Delta’s in-flight entertainment system by integrating YouTube content. Announced at CES 2025, this collaboration allows passengers to access a wide range of popular videos, podcasts, and music playlists on most flights.

Passengers can access content on both seatback screens and personal devices through Delta Sync Wi-Fi, enabling them to stream YouTube content without ads. Beginning October 1, U.S. SkyMiles members traveling domestically will have the opportunity to enjoy a 14-day free trial of YouTube Premium, which includes features such as offline viewing and background play on their personal devices.

Passengers can explore content from creators across genres, including travel, lifestyle, comedy, and culture, as well as curated YouTube Music playlists. Boarding music on Delta flights will now feature a new instrumental soundscape powered by YouTube Music.

Delta’s in-flight system is currently available on more than 930 aircraft, allowing passengers to access Wi-Fi on their personal devices and seatback screens. A next-generation platform, called Delta Sync, is set to launch on select aircraft in 2026. This platform will provide a cloud-based, customizable entertainment experience for travelers.
