Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal Completes Final Phase of Property Renovation

The Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal has completed a multi-year renovation of the entire property, with a grand reveal set for October 1. The final phase of the project included updates to all 112 guest rooms, suites, beachfront suites, presidential beachfront suite, casitas, and villas. Additionally, enhancements were made to the Beach Club Restaurant, adult pool, and the Salon at the Waldorf Astoria Spa.

The guest rooms have been redesigned to include calming lighting, functional layouts, and in-room bars featuring the resort’s beverage program. The Spa’s salon has been updated to create a tranquil space for relaxation, while the adult pool area has been refreshed for a comfortable leisure experience. The Beach Club Restaurant will introduce rotating culinary events that highlight regional Mexican cuisine.

The redesign, led by the resort’s original designer, Paul Duesing, combines modern elements with authentic Mexican design and cultural references. The rooms feature neutral tones accented with warm colors, custom furniture, and accessories made by local artisans. Artwork by Mexican artists, including Cinthya Navarro and Tanya Talamante, enhances the decor. Additionally, each room showcases a signature metallic sea turtle shell, handcrafted by Preciado Iluminacion, symbolizing the resort’s connection to its natural surroundings.

The culinary offerings at the resort have been enhanced with several new additions: Agave Study at Peacock Alley, Neutral Coffee Lab, a refresh of the property’s signature restaurant, Don Manuel’s, and a nine-course tasting menu at TRAVESÍA. These dining experiences are part of the resort’s Festival of Flavors, which features guest chefs collaborating with the executive culinary team.

The resort continues its collaboration with Alo Wellness Club, providing both in-person and virtual wellness programs. The Waldorf Astoria Spa now features an upgraded salon, a saltwater meditation pool, and treatments inspired by traditional Mexican rituals.
