APPOINTMENT
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has announced the appointment of Crisdean Porciani as Director of Quality.
With more than a decade of experience across luxury hotels in Europe and Australia, Crisdean Porciani has developed expertise in quality assurance, guest engagement, and operational efficiency.
His skills include developing robust pre-opening strategies, cross-departmental service readiness, and implementing global quality frameworks that align with industry-leading hospitality benchmarks.
Most recently, Cristean was part of the senior leadership team at W Edinburgh, where he played a key role in the hotel’s pre-opening.
There, he spearheaded initiatives to elevate service standards, enhance operational performance, and ensure brand-aligned guest experiences.
In his new role, Cristean will oversee the resort’s quality and guest experience programmes, ensuring that service delivery remains consistent.
He will also work closely with other department heads to design and implement training programmes, strengthen service culture, and drive continuous improvement across the property.
