APPOINTMENT
Courtyard by Marriott Shillong has announced the appointment of Sharoni Sharma as the new General Manager, effective February 23, 2026.
Sharoni brings over 15 years of experience, having worked across luxury and upscale hotel brands in India including The Leela Palace Jaipur, The Roseate, JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru, and The Westin Goa, where she focused on operational performance, guest satisfaction, and team development.
In her new role, Sharoni will lead overall hotel operations, with a focus on positioning the property as a preferred destination for business, leisure, and social events in the region.
Her responsbilities include enhancing guest experience, driving operational performance across rooms and food and beverage, and strengthening organisational culture.
