APPOINTMENT
Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams has announced the appointment of Kamal Munasinghe as its new General Manager, effective February 15, 2026.
Apart from this appointment Kamal Munasinghe will continue in his role as Senior Vice President – Colombo Hotels at Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts.
Kamal brings over three decades of international and local hospitality experience, having held senior leadership roles with recognized brands such as Marriott, Hyatt, and Mövenpick.
Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and elevating guest experiences.
Kamal has also held various other leadership roles at Cinnamon Hotels including Area Vice President – Colombo and General Manager of Cinnamon Grand Colombo. Prior to rejoining this property, he served as General Manager of Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur.
In his new role, Kamal Munasinghe will lead the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the hotel with a focus on further elevating guest experiences.
