Bhutan Airlines joins SabreMosaic to expand travel access to Bhutan
Sabre Corporation has signed a distribution agreement with Bhutan Airlines (Tashi Air Pvt Ltd), marking the airline’s debut on SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace. The partnership enables Bhutan Airlines to distribute its fares and offers to Sabre-connected travel agencies worldwide, increasing visibility and access to key markets.
Bhutan, located between China and India in the Eastern Himalayas, is known for its Gross National Happiness philosophy. Bhutan Airlines plays a key role in connecting the country with regional hubs and supporting both inbound and outbound tourism.

Pema N Nadik, CEO of Bhutan Airlines, said: “This agreement allows us to offer our fares and services through Sabre’s global network of travel agencies, helping us reach more regional and international travelers. As Bhutan’s first private airline, this step supports our goal of improving connectivity for our passengers.”
Founded in 2011, Bhutan Airlines is Bhutan’s first privately owned airline and currently serves destinations across India, Thailand, and Nepal. The airline plans to expand its network to additional countries in Southeast Asia, providing more travel options for Bhutanese residents and international visitors.

Brett Thorstad, Vice President, Sabre Travel Solutions, Agency Sales & Airline Distribution, said: “Airlines of all sizes join Sabre’s travel marketplace to extend their reach across target markets. Bhutan Airlines’ participation adds to our multi-source content ecosystem, offering travel agencies access to more options and helping travelers plan trips with greater flexibility.”
