Beachside Residences Take Shape at InterContinental Phuket Resort

A new phase of beachfront residential living is taking shape on Phuket’s sunset coast with the development of The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort, located along a quiet stretch of white sand at Kamala Bay. Set amid tropical greenery and overlooking the Andaman Sea, the project is designed for residents seeking privacy, comfort, and a balanced lifestyle in a coastal setting.

Developed by Proud Real Estate, construction on the project began in the fourth quarter of 2025. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the development will comprise 111 private residences. The project is positioned to appeal to international buyers, including those from Singapore and the GCC, seeking long-term residential use rather than short-term stays.

Residences integrated with resort living

The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort are designed as private homes with access to hotel-managed services and facilities. The project brings together Proud Real Estate with Habita Architects, PLA Landscape, and PIA Interiors, creating a low-density residential environment that remains connected to the adjoining InterContinental Phuket Resort.

Homes range from one-bedroom residences to five-bedroom penthouses and will be delivered fully furnished. Design elements include stone façades, Green Jade marble finishes, shaded courtyards, and wide balconies oriented toward landscaped gardens and resort grounds. Nearly 2,000 square metres of landscaped green space comprise the Paradise Garden Court, a central shared area within the development.

Focus on sustainability and wellbeing

The project incorporates sustainability measures, including solar energy systems, water and waste management practices, and natural ventilation. It is currently pursuing Fitwel Certification, reflecting an emphasis on health-focused design and long-term environmental considerations.

Residents will have access to resort amenities, including a lagoon pool, dining venues such as Jaras, and Pine Beach Bar. Concierge services can assist with experiences such as yacht charters, private dining arrangements, and spa services, supporting a resort-style residential lifestyle.

Residential ownership model

The development is structured for owner-occupancy, with no formal rental pool or minimum stay requirements. This allows owners to use their residences flexibly throughout the year, supporting a community-oriented residential environment. Hospitality services are provided in accordance with InterContinental standards to support day-to-day living and property management.

The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort are now available for purchase, with prices starting from THB 15 million. The project follows Proud Real Estate’s earlier branded residential collaboration, InterContinental Residences Hua Hin.
