Azerai Resorts in Vietnam Begin the Year Following Award Recognition in 2025
Azerai Resorts in Vietnam enter the new year following a series of industry recognitions in 2025, with properties from hotelier Adrian Zecha’s portfolio receiving multiple awards from international travel and lifestyle publications.
Azerai Ke Ga Bay, an all-suites-and-villas beachfront resort in southern Vietnam, received a MICHELIN Key in October. During the year, the resort was also named among Southeast Asia’s boutique hotels by The Times (UK) and achieved a runner-up position in the Luxury Travel Advisor “Most Instagrammable Hotel in the World” awards. It was also named the Most Instagrammable Hotel in Asia, the Indian Ocean, and the South Pacific.
The resort was included in Vietnam’s “Top 10 Family Hotels” by the Smart Travel Asia Reader Poll and was recognized by Epicure magazine as Vietnam’s “Best Boutique Resort for 2025.”
Located approximately 2.5 hours by road from Ho Chi Minh City via a newly developed highway, Azerai Ke Ga Bay is set within 4.5 hectares of landscaped gardens. The property is bordered by Hon Ba Island and its historic lighthouse to the east and sand dunes to the west, offering a calm environment designed for rest and wellness.

“Azerai Ke Ga Bay draws on the cultural character of its surroundings to create a refined yet relaxed guest experience,” said General Manager Julian Moore.
“We are encouraged by this recognition and remain focused on delivering thoughtful and personalized stays for our guests.”
In central Vietnam, Azerai La Residence, Hue, also received several industry acknowledgements in 2025. The property was named among Vietnam’s leading upcountry hotels by Travel + Leisure, while General Manager Minh Phan Trong was recognized as General Manager of the Year.

The 122-room hotel overlooking the Perfume River was listed among Vietnam’s hotels for 2025 by The Times of London and included in Tatler’s “Best of Vietnam” list. NOW Travel Asia recognized the property as “Asia-Pacific’s Top Heritage Hotel,” and Smart Travel Asia readers voted it among Vietnam’s top 10 hotels for service. MICHELIN also listed Azerai La Residence, Hue, among its recommended boutique hotels in northern Vietnam for cultural travel.
Azerai La Residence, Hue is centered on a colonial mansion built in 1930 as part of the residence of the French Resident Supérieur. Its façade features long horizontal lines and nautical design elements characteristic of the streamline moderne Art Deco style.

“At Azerai, our focus is on creating experiences that help guests connect more deeply with a destination,” said General Manager Minh Phan Trong.
“These recognitions suggest that our approach resonates with travelers, and we look forward to welcoming more guests in the year ahead.”
