Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas Expands Wellness Experiences with Holistic Programmes

Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas has introduced a new wellness journey, focused on personalized programmes, holistic therapies, mindful movement, and plant-based nutrition, through its Anantara Spa.

Located on a private peninsula overlooking Anse Louis in the Seychelles, the resort has designed the experience around tailored wellbeing programmes that adapt to individual guest preferences and wellness goals. Each stay begins with a detailed consultation, allowing the wellness team to customise therapies, movement sessions, nutrition and daily wellness rituals.

The wellness retreats are available in three- to five-night formats and combine consultation, cuisine, spa therapies and movement practices into a structured programme designed to support both physical and emotional wellbeing. Daily schedules include yoga, breathwork sessions, fitness activities and wellness-focused dining, alongside treatments intended to encourage rest and recovery.

Guests can choose from three dedicated wellness pathways. The De-Stress, Switch Off & Unwind programme focuses on relaxation through grounding rituals, yoga, Shirodhara therapies and sound bowl meditation. Detox & Reboot centres on cleansing therapies, targeted nutrition and movement sessions including aqua yoga and herbal compress treatments. Rejuvenate & Revitalise combines restorative yoga, spa therapies, and guided outdoor experiences to restore energy and balance.

Nutrition is a key part of the programme, with the introduction of a plant-based wellness menu featuring locally sourced ingredients, herbal infusions, and dishes designed around balanced nutrition. The menu includes vitality bowls, plant-based comfort meals and lighter dessert options, alongside wellness breakfasts such as acai bowls, chia pudding and moringa porridge.

Beyond the spa, guests can also take part in curated experiences, including floating breakfasts, sunset rituals, guided nature walks, and private dining. Wellness activities include yoga sessions, non-motorised water sports, and marine discovery programmes.

The Anantara Maia Spa combines Eastern and Western wellness traditions, incorporating therapies inspired by practices from Thailand, India, Tibet and Indonesia, alongside locally sourced ingredients and treatments delivered by specialist practitioners.
