Rome Hosts Anantara Concorso Roma Automotive Event

The first edition of Anantara Concorso Roma, presented by UBS, took place in Rome, bringing together more than 70 historic Italian cars for a weekend focused on automotive heritage and design.

Held across multiple venues in the city, the event combined a curated car display with a programme of hospitality and cultural experiences. The main showfield was located at Casina Valadier in Villa Borghese, where cars were displayed across 16 categories, ranging from early pre-war models to modern performance vehicles.

Participating marques included Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Fiat, reflecting a cross-section of Italian automotive history. The event focused exclusively on Italian cars, with entries spanning both road and racing models.

The Best of Show award was presented to a 1932 Maserati V4 Sport Zagato, recognised for its engineering heritage. The model is notable for its early experimentation with multi-engine design and for its role in achieving speed records during its era.

The event began with guest arrivals at Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel, followed by a series of activities including city experiences, dining events and the main concours display. The programme concluded with an awards presentation and closing gathering.

Organized by Anantara Hotels & Resorts, the event forms part of a broader effort to combine hospitality with curated cultural and automotive experiences. The organizers indicated plans to continue developing the event in future editions.
