amã Stays & Trails, the homestay offering from the Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has opened its 150th bungalow, Anand Bhawan Palace, in Tirwa, Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. This marks the brand’s entry into the state.

Initially built in 1929, Anand Bhawan Palace offers six suites named after perfumes of Kannauj: The Jasmine Suite, The Patchouli Suite, The Oudh Suite, The Neroli Suite, The Gulaab Suite, and The Bakhoor Suite. The verandas and galleries open onto gardens, while interiors combine traditional design with contemporary elements.

Guests can experience farm-to-table dining with regional dishes, Nepalese flavours, and barbecue evenings, relax by the swimming pool, explore the billiards room, go birdwatching at a nearby sanctuary, or learn about Kannauj’s attar-making practices.
