Air India Expands Winter Schedule with Flights to Khajuraho and Jaisalmer
Air India has announced updates to its domestic network for the Northern Winter Schedule 2026, introducing new routes and additional frequencies to improve connectivity to several cultural and spiritual destinations in India.
From 25 October 2026, the airline will operate daily flights to Khajuraho, connecting the city with Delhi and Varanasi. Air India will also introduce daily non-stop flights between Mumbai and Jaisalmer, in addition to its existing seasonal services between Delhi and Jaisalmer. In addition, the airline will increase flight frequency between Delhi and Gaya.
Khajuraho Flights Supporting Multi-Destination Travel

The new services aim to improve travel options for visitors exploring Khajuraho and Varanasi in a single journey. Khajuraho is known for its temple complexes, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while Varanasi remains an important spiritual destination in India.
The flights will operate on a triangular routing between Delhi, Khajuraho and Varanasi, with alternating schedules throughout the week. This routing offers flexibility for travellers planning visits to both destinations and also enables connections through Delhi to international destinations across Europe and Asia.
