Air India and Air India Express Are Operating 58 Flights to West Asia Today
Air India and Air India Express are operating a total of 58 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from West Asia today (12 March 2026), continuing connectivity between India and several destinations across the region.
In addition to these services, both airlines are scheduled to operate one non-scheduled round-trip flight to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, tomorrow, departing from Mumbai and Kozhikode.
Scheduled services to Jeddah and Muscat
The airlines are continuing their scheduled operations to Jeddah and Muscat.
A total of 10 flights are operating to and from Jeddah, including:
Air India: one round-trip from Delhi and two round-trips from Mumbai
Air India Express: one round-trip each from Bengaluru and Kozhikode
Air India Express is also operating eight scheduled flights to and from Muscat, including:
one round-trip each from Delhi and Mumbai
two round trips from Kozhikode
Additional non-scheduled flights
In addition to scheduled services, Air India and Air India Express are operating 40 non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia, subject to slot availability and operating conditions at the departure airports. These flights are being operated with approvals from the relevant aviation authorities in India and the destination countries.
The additional services include flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Riyadh, connecting Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kochi.
Other international services continue

Air India stated that its flights to North America, Europe, Australia and other regions are continuing as scheduled. Between 10 and 18 March 2026, the airline is also operating 78 additional flights connecting India with Europe, the United States, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
Passenger support and rebooking options

Passengers booked on routes where Air India Group’s scheduled services remain temporarily suspended can rebook their travel for a future date without additional charges or request a full refund.
Air India passengers can submit rebooking or cancellation requests through the airline’s website or by contacting the airline’s customer support helpline.

Air India Express passengers travelling from the UAE can rebook their flights without additional charges on the airline’s additional commercial flights operating from any UAE station to destinations in India.
The airlines are also contacting affected passengers through the mobile numbers registered in their bookings to share rebooking options. Travellers are advised to ensure their contact details are up to date with the airline.
Passengers with Air India Express bookings can also manage their travel through the airline’s digital assistant, Tia, available on WhatsApp.
Air India Group said it continues to explore options to operate additional ad hoc flights between India and West Asia, subject to operational conditions.
