Air India and Air India Express Operate 30 West Asia Flights on 6 April

Air India and Air India Express Continue Jeddah and Muscat Flights

Scheduled and Additional Services Operated Across UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia

Air India and Air India Express are operating 30 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region on 6 April 2026.

This includes 10 additional (non-scheduled) flights to and from the United Arab Emirates, subject to slot availability and operating conditions at departure stations. These services are being conducted with the necessary approvals from the Indian and UAE regulatory authorities.

The airlines continue to adjust operations based on route conditions, while maintaining connectivity on select sectors across the region.

Operations Outside West Asia Continue as Scheduled

All Air India flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia and other regions are continuing as per schedule.

Passengers booked on routes where services remain temporarily suspended have the option to rebook for a later date without additional charges or request a full refund.

Passenger Support and Rebooking Options

Travellers are advised to manage their bookings through the airline’s official website or customer support channels.

Air India Express passengers travelling from the UAE may also rebook on alternative services operating from any UAE station to destinations in India, without additional charges.

Both airlines are contacting affected passengers using registered mobile numbers to provide updates and rebooking options. Passengers are encouraged to ensure their contact details are up to date.

Air India Express passengers can also use the airline’s AI-powered digital assistant, “Tia,” on WhatsApp for rebooking assistance.

Additional Flights Under Consideration

The Air India group is continuing to assess the possibility of operating additional ad hoc flights to and from West Asia, subject to operational requirements and approvals.
