Hawaiian Airlines Introduces oneworld Alliance Aircraft
Hawaiian Airlines Marks oneworld Membership with New Aircraft Livery
Hawaiian Airlines has unveiled a special aircraft livery to mark its membership in the oneworld alliance, featuring the Hawaiian language phrase “Aloha a puni ka honua”, meaning “Aloha all around the world.”
The design appears on one of Hawaiian Airlines’ Airbus A330 aircraft, which will operate across its domestic and international transpacific network. The aircraft retains the airline’s Pualani tail design and the signature maile lei wrapped around the fuselage, while adding the oneworld branding and the Hawaiian-language message.
The phrase reflects the airline’s expanded international connectivity through the oneworld alliance while celebrating Hawaiʻi’s culture and language.

Alisa Onishi, Managing Director of Hawaiʻi Marketing at Hawaiian Airlines, said the new livery represents the airline’s commitment to sharing Hawaiʻi’s culture, values and hospitality with travellers around the world while recognising the importance of preserving the Hawaiian language.
Celebration in Honolulu
Hawaiian Airlines unveiled the aircraft during a ceremony at its Charles I. Elliott Maintenance and Cargo Facility in Honolulu.
As part of the event, the airline donated US$10,000 each to the ʻIolani Palace and the Polynesian Voyaging Society, organisations that help preserve Hawaiʻi’s history, culture and traditions.
Benefits of oneworld Membership
Joining the oneworld alliance is the airline’s first membership in a global airline alliance. The partnership provides passengers with easier access to destinations served by the alliance while expanding travel options across its international network.
Members of Atmos Rewards, the combined loyalty programme of Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines, can earn and redeem points and enjoy eligible status benefits when flying with the alliance’s 15 member airlines, which serve nearly 1,000 destinations in more than 170 countries.
Likewise, members of other oneworld airline loyalty programmes can earn and redeem rewards and receive eligible benefits when travelling on Hawaiian Airlines.
