Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel Appoints Vannesa Bordoy as Executive Chef

Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel has announced the appointment of Vannesa Bordoy as Executive Chef. In this role, she will oversee the hotel’s culinary programming, including menu development, guest dining experiences, and kitchen operations.

Bordoy brings international experience to the position, with a career spanning Ecuador and the United States. Most recently, she served as Executive Chef at the Graduate Hotel’s White Limozeen in Nashville, where she was responsible for restaurant operations, menu planning, inventory management, cost control, and quality standards. She has also held roles as Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chef during her tenure.
Her experience includes managing large-scale banquet and event production, overseeing staffing and scheduling, and coordinating front- and back-of-house operations. Over time, she has developed expertise in culinary operations, team management, and service delivery.
Bordoy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Gastronomy from Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial in Quito, Ecuador. Her academic training includes exposure to multiple culinary traditions such as Japanese fusion, French and Italian cuisines, South American cooking, pastry, sushi, and beverage preparation.
In her new role at SongTeller Hotel, Vannesa will lead culinary offerings across dining venues, including the performance space, Parton’s Live, and Jolene’s, with a focus on developing menu concepts and maintaining operational standards.
