APPOINTMENT

J. Colby Williams Appointed EVP and General Counsel at Red Rock Resorts

Red Rock Resorts, Inc. has appointed J. Colby Williams as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. He will succeed Jeffrey Welch, who is retiring after serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer since June 2017.

Welch will continue to support the company during the transition period and provide advisory services through 31 December 2026.

Williams is expected to join Red Rock Resorts on or around 8 September 2026. In his new position, he will oversee the company’s legal, regulatory and compliance functions, working closely with senior leadership across the organisation.

A founding partner of Campbell & Williams, Williams brings more than 30 years of legal experience. Throughout his career, he has handled a broad range of matters, including commercial litigation, administrative proceedings, personal injury cases and First Amendment law.

He has also maintained a long-standing relationship with Red Rock Resorts, having worked alongside the company’s executive team and legal department for the past two decades.

In March 2025, Williams was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona and a Juris Doctor degree from Arizona State University.

A resident of Las Vegas for more than 30 years, Williams now prepares to take on a key leadership role as Red Rock Resorts continues its next phase of growth and development.
