APPOINTMENT

Brian Huchingson has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing at The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio.
In this role, he will lead the hotel’s overall sales and marketing strategy, guide brand communications, and oversee initiatives aimed at strengthening the property’s position in the San Antonio market. His responsibilities include managing all sales functions across group, transient, and meetings and events segments for the 473-room hotel. He will also provide strategic direction to the sales team, encourage cross-department collaboration, and support efforts focused on revenue growth, client relationship management, and guest experience enhancement.

Huchingson joins the hotel with more than 25 years of experience in hospitality, covering sales, revenue management, and commercial strategy. He most recently served as Director of Commercial Services for Zachry Hotels, where he supported Hilton Palacio del Rio and oversaw revenue operations for two Embassy Suites properties in San Antonio. His career also includes leadership roles with Hilton Worldwide, Omni Hotels, and Sage Hospitality, where he managed teams across various commercial functions.

Across his previous positions, Huchingson has been acknowledged for his strategic and collaborative working style, particularly in developing marketing initiatives that supported brand positioning and long-term business goals. His appointment aligns with The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio’s continued focus on operational strength, market growth, and community impact.
