Amora Hotels and Resorts Appoints Rahul Dangwal as General Manager of Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne

Amora Hotels and Resorts has appointed Rahul Dangwal as General Manager of Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne.

Dangwal brings over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a background in hotel operations, commercial performance, and brand positioning across international hotel groups. His previous experience includes roles with TFE Hotels, Millennial Hotels and Resorts, Stamford Hotels and Resorts, and Accor.

He joined Amora Hotels and Resorts as Hotel Manager in July 2024, following his tenure as General Manager with Accor. Since then, he has been involved in operational and commercial initiatives at Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne.

During his time at the property, he led the addition and launch of 45 new guest rooms, expanding the hotel’s inventory and supporting its positioning across corporate and leisure segments. He has also been involved in efforts to reposition the property to a 4.5-star category within the Melbourne market.

His experience includes managing hotel operations, implementing revenue strategies, and adapting to changing market conditions across competitive urban environments.
