Hilton Recognized as World’s Best Workplace, Underscores Connection Between Employee Experience and Guest Service
Hilton has been named one of the World’s Best Workplaces by Fortune and Great Place to Work. Alongside this recognition, the company released a new study highlighting how employee experience influences customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
According to a Morning Consult survey conducted for Hilton, nearly 80% of U.S. consumers believe that companies taking care of their employees deliver better products and services. About 88% say this is particularly important in the travel and hospitality industry, and 75% are more likely to recommend businesses known for their positive employee practices.
Hilton’s workplace approach focuses on long-term growth, learning, and well-being. Internal data shows that 91% of team members believe they can continue to learn and grow, while nearly 90% feel confident about achieving their career goals within the company. Approximately 63% of recent hotel and corporate leadership roles were filled by internal candidates, and one-third of U.S. team members have been with Hilton for over a decade.
Chris Nassetta, President and CEO of Hilton, said the recognition reflects the company’s culture of care: “When we take care of our people, they take care of our guests. Our purpose, envisioned more than a century ago by our founder Conrad Hilton, remains the same—to bring hospitality and warmth to people around the world.”
Hilton’s global expansion is generating new career opportunities. In the past year, the company has added nearly 20,000 team members across managed, franchised, and corporate roles. Since 2022, Hilton has created over 2.5 million learning and career growth opportunities for both team members and community members worldwide.
Development initiatives include:
LAUNCH: A rotational program offering early-career professionals on-property and corporate experience.
Hilton University & LinkedIn Learning: Free access to more than 30,000 courses and certifications.
Guild Education Partnership: Tuition-free learning opportunities for eligible U.S. team members.

Hilton also offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including the “Go Hilton” travel program, paid sabbaticals, and well-being initiatives designed to promote balance and personal growth.
Laura Fuentes, Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Hilton Supply Management, said: “A culture built on opportunity and inclusion not only helps create fulfilling careers but also enhances guest experiences. When team members feel supported and valued, they deliver stronger results and service.”
Hilton’s ranking as the World’s Best Workplace is based on feedback from its 500,000 team members across 141 countries and territories. In 2025, the company was recognized as a Great Place to Work in 67 countries, achieving top rankings in 18, including the United States.
