Wyndham Introduces End-to-End Digital Tools for Group Travel Booking

Wyndham

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has introduced enhancements to its direct group booking platform to simplify planning and managing group stays. Available through groups.wyndhamhotels.com, the updated system provides planners with real-time visibility, custom booking pages and centralised management tools.

Powered by Groups360 and its GroupSync Housing platform, the upgraded solution allows organisers to manage group bookings from reservation through check-in within a single interface. The approach is designed to reduce manual coordination, improve tracking and streamline communication between planners and hotel teams.

Wyndham Unveils New Initiatives to Drive Owner Success, Strengthen Hotel Performance

The platform includes a real-time booking dashboard where planners can monitor reservations, track room pickup, and make updates without relying on spreadsheets or email. Each group receives a customized Wyndham-branded booking page, allowing guests to reserve rooms at agreed group rates without promo codes or additional steps. Reservations integrate directly with hotel systems to maintain accuracy and reduce front-desk workload.

Additional features include the ability for guests to extend stays before or after the main event, offering flexibility for travellers while creating additional revenue opportunities for hotels. Guests booking qualifying stays can also earn points through the hotel group’s Rewards programme.

Beyond platform enhancements, Wyndham has expanded its group demand channels through partnerships with third-party event travel platforms, including EventPipe, EventConnect and Staybook. These platforms are widely used by youth sports organisers, academic institutions and large-scale event planners to coordinate accommodation for multiple teams and attendees. By integrating with these systems, Wyndham aims to increase visibility for its franchisees and support higher occupancy through repeat group business.

Wyndham Hotels Touts AI Initiatives Amid Record Room Growth

Company executives said the investment reflects the hotel group’s broader focus on digital tools that reduce friction for planners while improving operational efficiency for hotel owners. The enhancements build on earlier initiatives such as Wyndham Business and Wyndham Direct, which are designed to modernise booking, billing and payment processes across customer segments.

The new features are available at no additional cost to planners or franchisees. For a limited period, the hotel group is also offering a 15% discount on standard rates for instant group bookings of 10 or more rooms, for stays booked by March 17, 2026 and completed by December 30, 2026.
