Signing for Freedom
In the spirit of Independence Day, the employees at Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi presented their own rendition of the national anthem in the Indian Sign language. The hotel shared the video on its social media accounts as the team wished Indians a very happy 78th Independence Day. Watch the heartwarming video here.
In the post, the hotel wrote, “We are deeply honoured to present the National Anthem in the Indian Sign language as we proudly celebrate our nation’s 78th Independence Day. A heartfelt collaboration with our incredibly talented specially-abled colleagues, Indian sign language experts, and dedicated NGO partners, along with our passionate teams from Taj Mahal, New Delhi, Ambassador New Delhi, The Connaught, New Delhi – IHCL SeleQtions, and Soulinaire. Together, we celebrate the spirit of inclusivity and freedom.”
The posts’ comments were filled with people appreciating the gesture by the hotel’s team. Someone wrote, “This is a beautiful tribute to India!” whereas another comment read “That’s amazingly crafted and gestured. True freedom is in inclusivity. Jai Hind!”
