IHG Hotels & Resorts Debuts in Chhattisgarh

voco Hotel Signing Strengthens IHG Presence in Thailand

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Phuket HA 2 Co., Ltd. to develop voco Phuket Patong, further expanding the brand in Thailand.

Scheduled to open in 2028, the 307-room hotel will form part of the mixed-use Abov Patong development in Phuket. The project will include hotels, branded residences, a clubhouse, a theatre, swimming pools and a kids’ club.

The signing follows the brand’s launch in Bangkok and adds to IHG’s growing pipeline of voco properties in Thailand.

Pathana Jitsaereetham, Director of Development, Thailand at IHG Hotels & Resorts, said Phuket continues to see strong tourism demand and remains an important market for the company’s expansion plans in Thailand.

Wuthikrai Kulsirisawad, Chief Executive Officer of Phuket HA 2 Co., Ltd., said the voco brand aligns with the lifestyle positioning of the Abov Patong development and marks the company’s first hotel partnership with IHG.

Located around 150 metres from Patong Beach, the hotel will offer access to shopping, dining and entertainment areas in Phuket. Facilities at the property will include a restaurant, two bars, a spa, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre.

The signing further expands IHG’s presence in Thailand, where the company now has more than 80 open and signed hotels across multiple brands.
