Etihad Airways and Air Peace Sign Interline Agreement

Etihad Airways Expands Network with Air Peace Partnership

Etihad Airways and Air Peace have signed an interline agreement that will expand connectivity across Nigeria, West Africa and Central Africa, allowing travellers to access additional destinations through a single ticket.

Under the agreement, Etihad passengers travelling to Lagos and Accra will be able to connect to Air Peace’s domestic and regional network. The partnership covers destinations across Nigeria, including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Benin City, Owerri, Warri and Asaba, as well as cities such as Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia, Conakry, Bamako, Douala and Libreville.

The agreement supports Etihad’s plans to expand its presence in Africa following the announcement of a daily Abu Dhabi–Lagos service, which is expected to begin soon. Once operational, passengers will be able to book connecting journeys through Abu Dhabi and continue onwards on Air Peace’s network.

Commenting on the partnership, Arik De, Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer at Etihad Airways, said Nigeria remains an important market for the airline’s long-term growth strategy in Africa. He added that the agreement will provide travellers with access to Air Peace’s domestic and regional network.

Nowel Ngala, Chief Commercial Officer of Air Peace, said the partnership will improve travel options for customers by connecting Air Peace’s network with Etihad’s international services through Abu Dhabi, while also providing Etihad passengers with easier access to destinations across Nigeria and West Africa.

Combined itineraries will be available for booking through etihad.com once the agreement comes into effect.
