Peerless Hotels appoints Amit Meharia as Vice President – Finance

Peerless Hotels Ltd., the hospitality division of Peerless General Finance and Investment Company (PGFI), has appointed Amit Meharia as Vice President – Finance.

Amit brings over 15 years of experience in hotel financial operations, including financial restructuring, accounting practices and compliance processes.

In his new role, he will oversee financial operations across the group, with responsibilities including financial accounting, compliance frameworks and finance strategy.

His experience includes planning and implementing financial systems, supporting finance transformation initiatives and aligning processes with evolving business requirements.

Debasree Roy, Managing Director, Peerless Hotels Ltd., noted that the appointment is part of the company’s ongoing focus on strengthening its corporate leadership and financial processes.
