Virgin Atlantic Revamps Heathrow Clubhouse Lounge
New Spaces and Wellness Features Introduced for Upper Class Passengers
Virgin Atlantic has introduced the first phase of a redesign and refurbishment of its Clubhouse at London Heathrow, with updated spaces and new facilities for Upper Class passengers.
The refreshed lounge includes additions such as a cinema area, work pods, a redesigned Gallery space and a private Royal Box section. The changes focus on offering a mix of relaxation, work and leisure options before departure.

A new Royal Box area provides a separate space within the lounge, offering privacy along with runway views. The section features a central display that rotates a selection of food and beverages.
Two new work pod studios, named The Townhouse and The Manor, have also been introduced. These spaces are designed for passengers who want a quieter area to work, with desk setups, power access and studio-inspired interiors.

The Gallery area has been updated to accommodate more guests while maintaining views of the runway. The space includes different seating arrangements suited to individual travellers, groups and business passengers, along with artwork by UK-based artists.
The cinema has also been redesigned as a more enclosed screening space with improved seating, sound and lighting, offering a quieter environment within the lounge.

As part of the update, the airline has introduced new wellness options. These include self-guided Somadomes for meditation and light therapy, as well as a partnership with Secret Spa offering treatments such as massages and facials for a limited period.
Virgin Atlantic stated that these additions are part of a broader plan to update the pre-flight experience at Heathrow, with further developments expected in future phases.
