Tivoli Hotels & Resorts Opens Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará Hotel in Brazil
Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará Hotel, marking the brand’s third property in Brazil and its first in the country’s northern region. The hotel is situated in Belém, the capital of Pará state, a city renowned for its cultural traditions, gastronomy, and proximity to the Amazon region.
Interest in the city has grown in recent months following COP30, which brought global attention to Belém’s environmental and cultural significance as a gateway to the Amazon.

Located in the Campina neighbourhood, the hotel sits a short distance from the waterfront and overlooks Guajará Bay. Guests can easily access several landmarks in the city, including Estação das Docas, Ver-o-Peso Market, Praça da República and the Basilica of Nazaré.
The hotel features 176 accommodation options, including guest rooms, four suites and two Presidential Suites. The interiors incorporate natural light, regional materials and contemporary design elements. The Presidential Suites, located on the upper floors and spanning approximately 220 square metres, include a master bedroom, living and dining areas, a bathtub and butler service.
Dining, Wellness and Event Facilities

At the rooftop level, the hotel houses SEEN Belém, a dining concept developed by Portuguese chef Olivier da Costa. The restaurant and bar combine Brazilian and international flavours, along with a rooftop setting overlooking Guajará Bay. It operates daily from 5 pm to 1 am.
The property also includes three additional dining venues: Must Restaurant & Bar, the Lobby Café, and Wine Bar & Trattoria. The menus are curated by Executive Chef Frederico Miranda, with a focus on regional ingredients and contemporary preparation techniques.

Wellness facilities at the hotel include the Anantara Spa, which will offer treatments inspired by Thai wellness traditions combined with Amazonian elements. The spa will feature treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge and a sauna. Other facilities include a rooftop outdoor pool and Tivoli Shape fitness centre.
For meetings and events, the hotel has five flexible spaces on a dedicated floor, each with natural light and modern conference technology. The venues can host up to 500 participants and are designed for conferences, corporate meetings and social events.

Visitors staying at the hotel can explore several attractions across Belém, including the Mangal das Garças, the historic Forte do Presépio and the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi, which highlights the biodiversity of the Amazon region.
The city is also known for the Círio de Nazaré, a religious event held every October that attracts visitors from across Brazil.

Founded in 1933 in Lisbon, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has expanded its presence across Portugal, Brazil, Qatar and China, with additional openings in several European destinations in recent years. In Brazil, the brand now operates three properties, including Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte and Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo.
Rates at Tivoli Maiorana Belém Pará Hotel start from €110 per night for a Deluxe Room, including breakfast for two guests.
