APPOINTMENT

The Westin Pune Koregaon Park has announced the appointment of Dhananjay Kuwar as the new Beverage Manager for Asilo, the hotel’s lounge.

Dhananjay brings over eight years of experience in the hospitality industry, with operational expertise, creative beverage innovation, and business acumen.

In his new role at Asilo in The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, he will spearhead the beverage program at Asilo, curating new experiences through innovative cocktails, premium spirits, bar takeovers and thoughtfully designed menus that elevate the guest experience.

Prior to joining The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, Dhananjay was associated with Acai Restaurant & Bar in Pune, where he led end-to-end restaurant and bar operations. His career also includes global roles with Marriott International, having worked at JW Marriott Maldives and JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa, where he managed multi-outlet operations, led team trainings, and contributed to high-impact beverage strategies.

 Dhananjay holds certifications in WSET Level 2 qualifications in Wines and Spirits, along with Sake and advanced mixology.

He has also been recognised with industry accolades including being the 1st Runner-up at the Marriott International Mixologist Competition (Pune).
