Le Méridien Kochi Appoints Ajeesh R as Assistant Director of Human Resources

Le Méridien Kochi has appointed Ajeesh R as Assistant Director of Human Resources. In this role, he will support the hotel’s human resources function, including talent management, employee engagement, and compliance.

Ajeesh R brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality human resources across Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and CGH Earth. He is currently associated with Marriott International at Le Méridien Kochi.

Prior to this, he served as Multi-Property Assistant Director of Human Resources at Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport and Port Muziris Tribute Kochi. He also held the role of Multi-Property Human Resources Manager, overseeing HR operations across both properties.

Earlier, Ajeesh worked with Hyatt Hotels Corporation as Human Resources Manager at Hyatt Regency Kochi Malayattoor, where he was part of the pre-opening team, and also supported HR functions at Hyatt Centric Janakpuri, New Delhi.

His previous experience includes roles with CGH Earth as Human Resources Manager at Marari Beach Resort and Assistant Manager Human Resources at Coconut Lagoon, Kumarakom, where he was involved in HR operations, industrial relations, and statutory compliance.

He began his career with The Leela Palaces & Resorts in Kovalam and later worked with Muthoot Pappachan Group in human resources roles. He also completed industrial training at Ramada Hotel, Caravela Beach Resort, Goa.

In his current role, Ajeesh R will focus on HR operations and team development at Le Méridien Kochi.
