Roseate Hotels & Resorts Signs The Roseate Bhimtal in Uttarakhand

Roseate Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of The Roseate Bhimtal, a boutique hotel located near Bhimtal Lake in Uttarakhand. The project marks the brand’s first management property in India and forms part of its expansion into the country’s leisure travel segment.

Scheduled to open in December 2026, the property will be set in the Kumaon hills and will include 30 guest rooms overlooking the lake. The hotel is designed to offer a stay focused on nature, wellness and personalised hospitality experiences.

The resort is about 5 hours by road from Delhi, about 45 minutes from Nainital, and approximately 1 hour from Pantnagar Airport. Surrounded by forests and the waters of Bhimtal Lake, the location offers travellers a quieter alternative to some of the more visited hill destinations in the region.

Commenting on the development, Kush Kapoor said the project reflects the brand’s plan to expand through management partnerships while strengthening its presence in leisure destinations. He added that Bhimtal’s natural setting and accessibility make it a suitable retreat for travellers seeking a break in the hills of Uttarakhand.

The property will undergo refurbishment before opening to guests later in 2026. The project will also introduce the brand’s design approach and dining concepts to the destination as part of its hospitality offering.

With its lakeside setting and focus on nature-based experiences, The Roseate Bhimtal will add to the hospitality options available in the Kumaon region when it begins operations in December 2026.
