Ugur Talayhan Appointed General Manager of The Grand Tarabya Hotel Managed by Accor

The Grand Tarabya Hotel Managed by Accor has appointed Ugur Talayhan as General Manager.

Talayhan brings over three decades of international luxury hospitality experience to the property. In his new role at The Grand Tarabya , he will lead the hotel through its rebranding phase, ensuring operational continuity and strategic alignment during the transition.

Talayhan joins from Fairmont The Palm, Dubai, where he served as General Manager.

Prior to this, he held the position of Country Manager for Türkiye, Eastern and Central Europe at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation.

Talayhan’s career also includes more than seven years with Accor, where he served as Vice President – Operations, overseeing a portfolio of over 60 hotels across Türkiye, and earlier as Regional Vice President for Luxury Brands in Türkiye and General Manager of Swissotel The Bosphorus, Istanbul.

He has previously held senior leadership roles such as Managing Director for Luxury Collection, Westin and Sheraton brands in Tianjin, General Manager at Raffles Hainan and The Westin Xian, and Hotel Manager at The St. Regis Beijing.

Earlier in his career, Talayhan held leadership roles in food and beverage operations, including Executive Assistant Manager positions and senior culinary leadership roles in Dubai, Portugal, and London.

His appointment reflects the hotel’s focus on strengthening leadership as it enters a new phase of brand evolution.
