Taj Public Service Welfare Trust Marks 17 Years of Support
The Taj Public Service Welfare Trust (TPSWT), established in December 2008 following the Mumbai terror attacks, marks 17 years of humanitarian service. Since its inception, the Trust has supported survivors and families affected by both man-made and natural tragedies, and has assisted injured and differently-abled members of the armed forces.

Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & CEO of IHCL, said, “For 17 years, the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust has provided consistent support for relief and rehabilitation efforts nationwide. We remain committed to serving communities with care and responsibility.”
He added, “Inspired by the resilience of those affected and the dedication of those who assist them, the Trust continues its work to support impacted communities and help rebuild lives with dignity.”
TPSWT’s initiatives include monthly sustenance support, pensions, skill development, micro-enterprise grants, medical assistance, and educational support for children of affected families. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Trust provided meals to migrant workers and COVID responders, as well as medical supplies and equipment. Its outreach has positively impacted over 5 million beneficiaries across India.
